Multiple shootings across the United States and a fireworks accident reportedly caused multiple deaths on July 4.

This year’s Fourth of July holiday was marked by multiple shootings across the U.S., including one in Indianapolis that left at least two dead and a police chief voicing public frustration over the latest acts of violence in his city.

Friday is the Fourth of July, and Central Indiana is celebrating our nation turning 249 years old by filling the night sky with red, white and blue bursts of freedom that will probably freak out your dog.
