I don’t think I’d be surprising anyone who knows me by saying that I’m a Jurassic franchise superfan. I’m even someone who enthusiastically enjoyed both of the previous sequels to Jurassic World. But I can agree with everyone that 1993’s Jurassic Park is the high bar of the series,

This is all a windup to this: “Jurassic World Rebirth” tries very hard to evoke that same moment of awe. But in the story, the ubiquity of the dinosaurs has left humanity feeling bored and annoyed, cutting the feet out from under those moments. And it’s starting to feel like the movies are getting bored, too.

In terms of performances, Scarlett Johansson blends combat readiness with narrative depth, adding physical presence to the role of Bennett. Jonathan Bailey offers a more grounded portrayal as Dr. Loomis, aiming to create a character that is both scientifically driven and emotionally resonant.
