The National Weather Service forecasts that snow could begin falling in the morning before changing over to rain as the temperature climbs into the mid 30s in the afternoon. Forecasters expect an accumulation of about an inch of snow before it becomes a slushy mess.

Sunshine is back in the forecast for Friday, but conditions the rest of the weekend will be more unsettled. The National Weather Service’s forecast is calling for highs in the mid 20s with partly clear skies on Friday.
