Winter weather alerts extend as far north as Ocean County, New Jersey, where a winter weather advisory is in place for 2-4 inches of snow on Monday. Other parts of the Mid-Atlantic could see up to 10 inches of snow — here's a look at Monday's forecast.

This is not a "historic" or "catastrophic" storm. It's snow. But it will cause significant travel impacts tomorrow, especially the farther south in New Jersey you are.

A light snow is forecast to start around 1 a.m. in parts of North Jersey and New York City, with an average of 2 inches falling before the storm moves out at 10 p.m. In Delaware and Philadelphia, the latest forecasts suggest the snow will start around 1 a.m., with as much as 8 inches falling over 24 hours.
