It's safe to say Shedeur Sanders' NFL Draft weekend didn't go the way he planned. Projected as a likely first-round pick and even a potential top-10 overall selection, the Colorado quarterback fell to the fifth round. The Cleveland Browns selected Sanders with the 144th overall pick, making him the second QB the Browns selected in the draft.

According to CBS Sports Research, the Browns are the first team since the 2012 Washington Commanders to draft two quarterbacks in the first five rounds. Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins both went to Washington in 2012, and now Gabriel and Sanders will both join the Browns.

Shedeur Sanders has been added to the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts’ negotiation list.
