Lawmakers and Gov. Tony Evers raced to pass the budget before action in Washington D.C. cuts off Wisconsin hospitals from more than $1 billion in potential federal funding.

Gov. Evers signed the budget, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 15, at 1:32 a.m. in his office Thursday, less than an hour after the Assembly passed it.
