Winter weather advisory issued for Cascades until early Monday morning – up to 10 inches of snow
A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 3:37 a.m. valid from 4 a.m. until Monday 4 a.m. for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.
The National Weather Service has updated its advisory system to better reflect dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills.
Another new change is the Wind Chill Advisory will be renamed to "Cold Weather Advisory" as shown below with the explanation.
