You would never know it based on how the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL draft played out, but Shedeur Sanders is believed to still be on individual team's draft boards. Per The Athletic's Jeff Howe, there's no indication Sanders has been taken off the board by teams as despite not being among the 102 picks that have happened thus far.

NFL Draft smokescreen season stinks, because you never know if an anonymous scout or front office member is trying to use quotes to manipulate where a player goes. But there have been multiple quotes about Sanders coming off badly in interviews with teams. That could have downgraded him a few rounds.

If the Broncos had needed a starting quarterback, Shedeur Sanders might have been staying in Colorado. There's a chance he'll still end up in Denver, based on the things Broncos coach Sean Payton had to say after Sanders made it through the first three rounds of the draft unselected.
