Firefighters were called to rescue a brood of ducklings after a Norton Shores medical employee witnessed the ducks falling into a sewer outside of her workplace.

Norton Sound Regional hospital in Nome, Alaska, has opened a new, $186 million, 18-bed facility, according to a SitNews report.

The new $17 million Norton Medical Center, located off 10th Street in the Jeffersonville Commons shopping center, has an emergency department and a diagnostic center.
