An afternoon of PGA Tour viewing in tough conditions was always going to be good, but McIlroy's bogey-free 7-under 65 made it theater.

Between media obligations and a cross-country flight home, Rory McIlroy had a hectic schedule on Sunday evening after winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. That didn't keep him from enjoying a certain Californian delicacy as part of his celebratory meal.

Rory McIlroy claimed a two-shot victory at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, a course he referred to as a “cathedral of golf.”

"I don’t think I’ve ever seen a golfer play as many bogey-free rounds as Scottie," McIlroy said. "He just doesn’t make mistakes."

Among players still actively playing, only Tiger Woods (82) and Phil Mickelson (45) have won more than McIlroy (27).
