Google app beta hints at a new "Hey Gemini" hotword, suggesting users may soon be able to choose how they activate Google's AI assistant.
Google is testing new AI video creation features for Google Gemini, according to a new report. This means the Gemini app may soon be able to generate not only pictures but also realistic video clips based on simple text prompts.
To disable Gemini on your Google mobile app, tap on your profile picture, go to settings, tap privacy and safety, and under the "content" heading, select "search personalisation". From there you can scroll down to My Google Activity, web and app activity and then select "turn off".
Sometimes asking Gemini for DIY help is much easier than relying on a landlord, even if you think you have a good one.
