Winter Weather Advisory stretches across Michigan, see where the snow will stack up Saturday
A Winter Weather Advisory sparked by the incoming snow system on Saturday has been issued for a large swath of counties across Mid-Michigan and Northern Michigan. The advisory cautions of worsening driving conditions on Saturday. It runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
We should see a few snow flurries on Tuesday here and there, but a bigger snow looms on Wednesday and early Thursday.
Up to 8 inches of snow could fall in Hillsdale County and Lenawee and Monroe counties could get up to 6 inches in storm expected to arrive Wednesday.
The National Weather Service said the Midwest, including Michigan, should expect freezing rain and ice accumulations starting Wednesday.
