Packers coach Matt LaFleur has hired Luke Getsy as a senior offensive assistant and extended the contract of special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia

The Packers will be keeping Rich Bisaccia and Luke Getsy on their coaching staff. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the team has signed Bisaccia to a contract extension and that Getsy will be a senior assistant on the offensive side of the ball.

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Rich Bisaccia and the Green Bay Packers have agreed on a contract extension to keep him as the team's special teams coordinator for two more seasons.

Special teams errors played a significant role in the Packers' playoff exit — bad call aside, Keisean Nixon fumbling on the opening kickoff set the team back. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, who brought Getsy aboard during the second half of the 2024 season as a defensive consultant, is re-hiring Getsy for a full-time role on the offensive side of the ball — although not for his previous job as quarterbacks coach.

The Green Bay Packers have just extended long-time special teams coordinator and assistant head coach Rich Bisaccia to a two-year contract that keeps him in Green Bay until 2027.

The Packers had some good moments on special teams this season but, overall, struggled in almost every phase under Rich Bisaccia.
