Police in Aurora rushed to a reported home invasion and shooting early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in the Denver metro area.

Four people have been hospitalized after a shooting and crash involving an RTD train. Few details were immediately available, but police say the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. near East Ellsworth Avenue and Sable Boulevard.

A man was critically wounded during a New Year’s Day shooting on the near East Side of Aurora, police said. At approximately 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, Aurora police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the first block of North Anderson Street, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department.
