The Franklin County Commissioners oversee core functions of county government such as fiscal operations, human resources, taxes, voting, emergency services, planning and information technology, all while representing the best interests of Franklin County citizens.

The Franklin County Tax Assessment Office values all land and improvements in the county. Updated records are available via counter computer and/or individual property record cards. This office also prepares tax bills for the county, municipalities and school districts.

Franklin County Register & Recorder information is now on the LANDEX System. You can access Recorder of Deeds online at LANDEX Remote . If you have any questions pertaining to the LANDEX System, please call 717-274-5890 .

Franklin County Archives & Records Management houses marriage docket indices (1885-1918), marriage license applications (1885-2011), and marriage license returns/duplicates (1885-2020). The most recent records are kept at the Clerk of Courts’ office.
